Description

With more than 20 years as a special educator, Richard Homutoff is currently the Special Services Coordinator for Redlands Unified School District. He has served as a moderate to severe disabilities K-transition levels Education Specialist, adjunct faculty for Azusa Pacific University, and is a former administrator for Azusa Unified School District.

Dr. Richard Homutoff will be leading three workshops on IEPs over the course of Spring 2017. These workshops are meant to supplement what you are learning/have learned in the classroom. Single Subject, Multiple Subjects, SPED, School Counseling and School Psychology candidates and alumni are welcome to attend.

3. Legally Defensible Assessments (5/20)

What does a legally defensible assessment include? This workshop will cover multiple topics, including timelines for assessments, the assessment process, Child Find and a district’s responsibility to ensure students are assessed, what the Education Code says about assessment, responsibilities of the assessor and much more…
